Please share this reminder with anyone you think will be interested, as it’s almost time for me to hide behind the sofa – my wildcard heat of Landscape Artist of the Year is on Tuesday at 8pm!
Here’s a photo of two lovely current commissions in production; reproductions of two double sketchbook pages from my time in the Naval Historic Dockyards in Portsmouth in 2014.
It is quite a strange exercise reproducing your own work. Already in that time my process has changed considerably. There are ways of using watercolour which I know lots more about and I might have approached the whole subject differently but at the same time my commissioners have chosen views that they have a special attachment to, so I need to keep as close to my original work as possible. Really hope they like them!
