Finally made it to Margate to see my work on the wall, alongside all the other Semi Finalists from Sky Landscape Artist of the Year…..and very close indeed to a great Turner exhibition! ? Bright but chilly – spent too long looking at shadows on the boat hulls and then lost the light.
It was a blustery cold day here yesterday near Pen y Fan but fantastic to be up in the hills in my boots after such a long time and also have the chance to stop and draw on the way down. Belated seasonal greetings to you all x
Another damp winters day, but although I set out to paint the greyness- there was quite a lot of colour in the sky so I painted that instead.

A dull damp day for watercolour outside yesterday. No chance of washes drying so I worked on 3 or 4 simple colour blocks.
