Using a picture rail to hang work!. Hello Worcestershire!
Using a picture rail in our new (old Victorian) home was slightly more involved than it initially appeared. 🖼 Here’s a look at what I needed and a quick flash of a few glazed pictures finally hung. Doing anything in this unusual heat is extra effort. 🥵
I have put up work in here from my MA at Aberystwyth University. These are special to me from my time onboard HMS Victory, and a later one of Jane Austen’s tabletop from my time at Jane Austen’s House Museum commissioned with Hampshire Cultural Trust. If I had a good memory I’d know the years of each ….but can’t recall of the top of my hot head.
Slight error…when I say Worcester ….I mean Worcestershire….we are actually in Malvern 🤭
Thanks to the inspiration from @its_a_nannas_life to get something on my walls🖤

Some of you may remember I took a picture down from here as my OH hated it 😆. Here’s my new one from @kimwhitbyart, my third piece from her ☺️.

It is very difficult to photograph because of the light that floods in from the large turret bay windows so this is my best effort 😆
